Crowds of people joined with close family and friends, a host of celebrities and the tribes of the Mardi Gras Indians to celebrate the life of Theodore Emile "Big Chief Bo Dollis" at his funeral service at Xavier University Convocation Center and the subsequent second line down Washington Avenue on January 31, 2015. As the drums beat and the tambourines shook the crowd proceeded through the streets joining in on a chorus of Indian chants in a kalediscope of colored feathers and beads, elation and mourning sending off the Big Chief in true New Orleans' style like only the Mardi Gras Indians can.
